about

A dear friend of mine, Seth Mountain, and many others along the way have taught me that gathering and singing together is such an important part of community building. It’s why I like to write songs that promote others to sing along with the voices we were given.

“Pearly Everlasting” is a people’s song that inspires unity and awareness in those living well within their bioregional watersheds.
My partner and I brought this song to life last November after reflecting on the world our son was growing up in.

I'm interested in helping facilitate “the better party” and inviting others into creative spaces that encourage building the kinds of community we want to live in.

The good folks of Camp Singing Wind helped expand my understand of what that better party could be and I’m eternally grateful to them!

lyrics

I’ll tell you when the people rose up (with the evergreens)
Ill tell you when the people rose up ( like the fireweed)
We’re stronger together, our voices heard and our people free
You're much too far good ol’ DC
Our table long, we have no walls, only mountain and sea
So rise with me, Klooshe Nanitch, Rise with me
